VMIC+ASSY 12149 is a rugged galvanic-isolation and surge-suppression module created by VMIC (now Emerson PACSystems) to stack seamlessly onto the rear-transition terminal block VMIC+ASSY 11994R13. When combined with the ultra-fast solid-state relay board ZT5524A1A, the pair delivers 1 000 Vrms channel-to-ground isolation, 4 kV surge immunity, and 24 independent SPST solid-state relays capable of switching 250 VAC/30 VDC loads in under 10 µs. VMIC+ASSY 12149 routes all analog and digital I/O through reinforced silicon-dioxide isolators, while ZT5524A1A provides low-impedance, bounce-free switching for high-speed PWM, heater control, or safety interlocks. Both VMIC+ASSY 12149 and ZT5524A1A fit 6U VME64x rear-transition slots or standalone DIN-rail carriers and are certified for –40 °C … +85 °C operation with ATEX Zone 2 approval.
